September 7, 2017 Referendum for Additional Space at Wilshire Park

St. Anthony-New Brighton School District is holding a special election on September 7, 2017, seeking voter approval of a ballot question authorizing the issuance of $14,060,000 in general obligation school building bonds for Wilshire Park Elementary School.  The referendum includes additional classrooms, gymnasium, expanded cafeteria, bathrooms, larger media center, and a secured entrance at Wilshire Park Elementary School.

Resident student enrollment continues to increase in St. Anthony-New Brighton School District.  Wilshire Park Elementary School currently serves 706 students and 94% are residents.  In the 2025-2026 school year, Wilshire Park is projected to serve between 796-963 resident students and additional learning spaces are needed to accommodate our resident learners.

St. Anthony-New Brighton School District is asking voters to consider approval of a bond referendum on September 7, 2017.
