Sportsmanship of SAVHS Pep Band Acknowledged at April School Board Meeting
Chris Ravndal and Andy Erickson were recognized at the School Board meeting on
April 6, 2010 for their leadership on March 27
Erickson, Ravndal and the St. Anthony Village High School pep band performed at the Target Center on March 27th to support the Grand Rapids High School basketball team at the state basketball tournament. The Grand Rapids High School band had traveled to Florida over Spring Break and the high school principal contacted Superintendent Dr. Rod Thompson requesting assistance from St. Anthony. The St. Anthony Village High School pep band members graciously accepted the opportunity to perform and support the basketball team. The sportsmanship they exhibited was recognized on the Minnesota State High School League’s website during the tournament.
