St. Anthony Middle School Student Excels at WordMasters Challenge
Clark Andreason, a sixth grade student at St. Anthony Middle School, received an Honorable Mention recognition in the national WordMasters Challenge. Andreason scored in the top 10% of 6th grade students who participated in the contest.
WordMasters Challenge is a mind-stretching classroom competition for Language Arts students in grades 3 - 12. The Elementary and Middle School Challenge focuses on the development of vocabulary and verbal reasoning for students in grades 3-8 and involves three contests throughout the school year. Andreason’s total score for the three contests qualified him for Honorable Mention and he is the first student from St. Anthony Middle School to receive national recognition. St. Anthony Middle School was one of 400 teams and 30,000 students to participate in the grade 6 Blue Division.
