Sophomore Sets New School Record

2010 Track

On Friday June 4, 2010, David Shadduck, a sophomore at St. Anthony Village High School, set a new school record for the 200 meter dash during the State semifinals which were held at Hamline University. Dave's record breaking time was 22.15 seconds. The previous St. Anthony record was 22.5 seconds (set in 1975). In addition, Dave's record broke Spring Lake Park's record for the 200M dash. (St. Anthony and Spring Lake Park combine for all track and field events.) Spring Lake Park's record was 22.18 seconds (set in 2008). David is pictured above second from the left.
