St. Anthony Village High School Teacher Recipient of Outstanding Science Teacher Award

Dr. Chris Hergenrader, a life science teacher at St. Anthony Village High School, was one of six recipients of the 2010 Outstanding Science Teacher Award from the University of Minnesota, College of Biological Sciences. Dr. Hergenrader was recognized on October 14 at the annual College of Biological Sciences Recognition and Appreciation Dinner. The College of Biological Sciences recognizes that excellent high school teachers have a tremendous impact on the academic and personal success of students. To honor these special individuals, students are invited to nominate one of their teachers for the college's "Outstanding Science Teacher Award." This award recognizes individuals whose teaching, mentoring and creativity have had significant impacts on students’ lives. Dr. Hergenrader was nominated by Sorcha Nix, a graduate of St. Anthony Village High School
