St. Anthony Village High School Students Win Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards

Scholastic Award winnersCongratulations to St. Anthony Village High School seniors Natalie Henley, Natalie Pechman, and Catherine Plante (pictured above). Their artwork received Silver Key awards at the 2010-2011 Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards (MSAA). MSAA received 1279 individual artwork entries and 168 portfolio entries and the jury awarded 126 Gold Keys and 156 Silver Keys for individual entries and 11 Gold Key and 21 Silver Keys for portfolio entries.

The artwork, featured below left to right, was created and titled by each artist: Natalie Hanley, Architectural Armature in Bleu, Collagraph Print; Natalie Pechman, New Orleans Rebirth, Oil Pastel; and Catherine Plante, Pike Place, Watercolor & Ink.

The public is invited to view the MSAA Exhibition which features artwork from Minnesota's young artists. The exhibition is open daily from January 21, 2011 to February 13, 2011 in the Concourse Gallery of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD)
