ANNOUNCEMENTS for February 8

SNODAZE Events: 

ATTENTION ALL BADMINTON PLAYERS - if you are planning to play badminton tonight, please pre-register your two-person team with Mrs. Bodurtha before leaving school today.  Tonight, you can still register between 8:00 and 8:30, first games start IMMEDIATELY at 8:30.  All games will be played in the upper gym, and it will be a double elimination tournament.  Your button will get you in free, otherwise it is $3 to watch or play.

 

Who's going to the dance on Saturday?  If you are, have you gotten your name on the guest list yet?  If you have a button, you are all set.  If you don't, buy your ticket today or tomorrow at lunch and pay $15.  Tickets are $20 at the door.

 

Remember, your SnoDaze button will get you into the home wrestling meet tonight!  This is the only wrestling meet hosted in the St. Anthony gym, JV competition begins at 6:30 pm and varsity at 7:30pm.

 

Basketball double header Friday night at St. Croix Lutheran.  Both the boys and girls teams will battle the Crusaders in back-to-back competitions (girls at 5:30; boys at 7 p.m.)

GSA is watching But I'm A Cheerleader after school in Sheehan's room today. Anyone is welcome to join us.

 

Attention Link Crew LICS group: we are meeting in Sheehan's room at 7:45 AM tomorrow morning

 

Knowledge Bowl practices today at 3pm in Room 304, be sure you are signed up for tomorrow's invitational.

 

Attention Artrageous Art Club Members:  we will meet Tuesday from 3 to 5 in Room 109.

 

Attn. all skiers and snowboarders: tomorrow is the last day to turn in your checks and permission slips for next Tuesday's trip to Afton. Remember if you have signed up but cannot attend,  please email the coordinator and let her know which date you plan to attend.

 

Sew Helpful will be meeting in the Commons after school TODAY, NOT in Room 209.

 

Speech will be having a captain's practice TOMORROW after school.  Come and get ready for our St. Francis meet.

 

10th Grade Students interested in attending the Career Fair:  Your worksheet and Permission Slip needs to be turned into Mrs. O'Shea in Room 100 by TODAY, Thursday.

 

Calling all senior Photographers and Artists.  Artist Choice is sponsoring their first annual art and photography scholarship competition.  Visit http://www.artistschoice.net/scholarships or stop by the Guidance Office for more info.  The deadline is March 31.  Good luck.

 

Key Club is selling Valentine Grams for Valentine's Day for our school's garden.  $5 bunch of roses; $1 candy $5.50 for both.  Items will be sold until February 13...both before and after school.  Please buy and support your school.

Friday Lunch:  Dunker day with Italian beef dunkers, meatless sauce, cheese bread, relish sticks and dip, pineapple tidbits
