The Patriots Marching Band Blitz is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Students will be seeking donations in the St. Anthony/New Brighton school district to support the award winning high school marching band. They will represent our community in local parades this summer, and perform in the Greeley, Colorado Stampede Parade. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

St. Anthony Village High School received the 2012 National Interscholastic Program of Excellence Award from Coach and Athletic Director magazine. Superintendent Laney explained, “We are one of two public high schools in the nation who were given this award.” Read more…
National Merit Scholarship Corporation Recognizes Four St. Anthony Village High School Students
Four seniors at St. Anthony Village High School were
recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Competition (NMSC), an
academic competition for high school students. To participate in the
2013 National Merit Scholarship Program, high school students must have
taken the 2011 Preliminary SAT (PSAT) and scored in the top five
percent of the more than 1.5 million students who took the exam. Read more...
University of Minnesota Acknowledges St. Anthony’s Rigorous Curriculum
St. Anthony Village High School Principal Wayne Terry received a
congratulatory letter from Dr. Wayne Sigler, Director of Admissions at
the University of Minnesota, for the school’s participation in the
Advanced Placement (AP) program. “Our data shows that your high school
ranks among the top in the state for the number of students who take AP
coursework and then enroll at the University of Minnesota. The 14
students from St Anthony Village High School who enrolled at the U of M
this year submitted 51 AP exam scores and earned a total of 239 credits
at the U of M.”

St. Anthony Village High School is proud to
announce a top ten ranking within the state of Minnesota, as reported in
2012 U.S. News and World Best High Schools. The report, released just
this past week, states that the school has been awarded one of the 42
silver medals within the state of Minnesota, giving SAVHS a 9th
place ranking in the state and a ranking of #563 in the nation. There
are 786 high schools in the State of Minnesota and over 22,000 national
public high schools. As stated in the article, Minnesota’s high school
graduation rate is very high with many schools offering Advanced
Placement options for students to earn college level credits while still
