School Board Meetings
Regular School Board meetings are scheduled on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, September through June; July and August to be determined. Exceptions to this would be if a 1st or 3rd Tuesday happens to fall on a holiday or during a regular school break. Special meetings of the board may be scheduled from time to time. Whenever possible, the time and date of these meetings will be discussed as an agenda item on the agenda of a regular school board meeting. Meeting agendas are posted 72 hours in advance of the meeting in the window of the high school building at 3303 33rd Avenue in St. Anthony Village and are publicized on Local Access Channel 19 as well as on this website. Meetings are re-broadcast on Channel 19 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7 p.m.; Friday at 9 a.m.; Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.
The purpose of school board meetings is to conduct the business of your schools. Meetings are open to the public and your attendance is encouraged. In an effort to listen to concerns of the public, school board members are available thirty minutes before board meetings held on the first Tuesday and members of the public may come to the school board meeting location to present their thoughts, ideas and concerns to board members on agenda items. This time prior to the beginning of the school board meeting is made available to the public for this purpose. Addressing the school board does not necessarily mean the board will consider or take action on an item.
